"Very good Japanese food. Sushi is very well made. The rice is Japanese rice, nicely flavoured. Sashimi is fresh and pieces are cut in just the right thickness. Best to call and make reservations ahead, walk-ins are turned away. Dining time is 1.5hrs but the chef and team are so efficient, we were done and ready to go in an hour. Price point is a little higher than the usual shopping mall Japanese fare but well worth the money and you walk out satisfied."

"When you walk in to the restaurant you’ll be greeted by several senior Japanese chefs. We were seated at the bar, we got to watch the masters at work. Truly in awe. Now to the food: 1- sashimi is a must, whichever the choice. The cuts are thick and fresh and flavoursome. Every slice was well presented in the bowl with surprises hidden. 2- grilled engawa and unagi - melted in our mouths. Fresh and well grilled. 3- fried oysters - plump and fresh, must try. Overall a fantastic experience. Price point is reasonable considering the high quality and thick cuts. Almost omakase level. Better than other similar range eg. Ishin, Tsukiji, Tenmaya etc in my opinion"

"Everything was great! Clean, fresh Japanese food. The servers are friendly and attentive. Food and drinks were served very quickly. The ambiance is also excellent; even if the tables are in close proximity to each other, it didn't feel like a food court where it can be too noisy. It's also not as pricey as other Japanese restaurants with the same quality of food. Overall, we really enjoyed our meal here and we'll definitely come back again and bring our friends. One possible downside for some people is that because of limited seating, you really have to call and make a reservation otherwise, you might have to wait a while before getting a seat."

"Used to be my regular Japanese food fix — until the constant crowds and long queues made it too much trouble. But today, by chance, I walked in on a quiet day. No wait, no booking needed. And honestly, I’m glad I did. The servings? Generous is an understatement. We left full — not just full, but full full full. • The rainbow rolls were not only fresh and tasty, but impressively big. • The salmon don came piled high with thick, buttery slices of salmon — and even the rice underneath was packed in and plentiful. A serious portion from top to bottom. • The unagi nigiri was plump, flavorful, and grilled just right. • The negitoro gunkan was so fully packed, I couldn’t even fit it in after everything else. • The deep-fried soft shell crab? Golden, crispy, and absolutely satisfying. • Even the humble natto side dish came in a surprisingly large portion — they go big on everything, even the small stuff. A lucky walk-in and a reminder of why this place was once my go-to. Sometimes, the best meals happen when you’re not planning for them."
